The song: The music and words came to me while on vacation in Bali and listening to the Gamelan Music from a nearby school. I could close my eyes and imagine that I was in any number of far away places in my mind...

The title: George is a homeless guy who I would often pass sitting outside a coffee shop on the way to work. One night at an open mic. one of the other performers mentioned that she worked in the coffee shop and would talk to George who told her about the time he was taken up in a spaceship by beings from another world.

The music: I recorded this with some friends back in Adelaide before I left Australia. The recording was pretty rough so I re-created the drum and bass lines as midi tracks and recorded the guitar and vocals. Thanks to Gary for the excellent Bass line and Silver Ghost Fish for the perfect minimalist drums.
